A novel real-time CTL assay to measure designer T-cell function against HIV Env(+) cells

To increase the immunosurveillance in HIV infection, we used retroviral vectors expressing CD4-chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) to genetically modify autologous T cells and redirect CTL toward HIV.

"The course prepared by accela for a flow cytometer NovoCyte, ACEA was really helpful and interesting, showing how easy can be working with cells and particle solutions. The staff of accela is well organized so the course was prepared perfectly. At the moment, I´m convinced to use the instrument in my research."

NovoCyte live technical webinar: a flow cytometry method for detecting bacteria in water

Regulatory testing for microbiological water quality is often conducted by growing microbes on agar medium in visible colonies. However, this is a time-consuming process and not all bacteria can grow in media and therefore be detected.

Examining the kinetics of Neutrophil phagocytosis by flow cytometry

The immune system has evolved specialized cells which engulf and kill invading pathogens in a process known as phagocytosis. These cells, known as phagocytes, are essential for elimination of dangerous microorganisms as well as apoptotic bodies.

Quantifying the impact of a CD19-BiTE combining flow cytometry & real-time cell analysis

Both the adaptive and innate arms of the immune system play a pivotal role in a host’s defense against tumors. CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL), which are a major component of the adaptive immune response, directly eliminate target tumor cells.
