"The xCELLigence RTCA SP analysis is without any doubts a proven non-invasive and sensitive method for monitoring the viability, proliferation or migration of cells in real time and thus complements and explains a number of end-point experiments. Our laboratory deals with the study of new natural molecules or compounds prepared semisynthetically. The analysis software is also intuitive and complete, moreover, ACCELA as a local supplier is able to provide qualified training and service."

Dr Darja Koutová

Charles University, Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic

"We were delighted to use xCelligence DP in the research on the proliferation of bacterial strains in relation to antibiotic resistance and pathogenicity. The number of data collected during experiments extended these obtained by any other technique used in analysis ow grow curve. We also appreciate the fact that software provides an accessibly and convenient format of data to the statistical analysis. The result of the study will be presented at the conference: 5th International Caparica Conference in Antibiotic Resistance 2022, Portugal. We hope that xCelligence DP will permanently contribute our study soon."

Dr Tomasz Jarzembowski

"xCELLigence system is helping my research with fast and reliable screening experiments on cells proliferation, migration and invasion under different cells growth conditions."

Dr. Joanna Kozak

Medical University of Lublin, Human Anatomy Department

"xCELLigence system helped my research in performing real-time evaluation of the toxicological profile for several types of innovative drugs that were tested on both primary cells and standard cell lines. Additionally, this platform demonstrated high sensitivity of detection of intracellular signaling events for drugs targeting protein kinases-mediated cellular pathways."

Dr. Monica Neagu

'Victor Babeș' National Institute of Pathology, Bucharest, Romania

The xCELLigence system proved to be a unique and invaluable technology in the development of new therapeutics for the steroid hormone sensitive cancers. It enabled us to analyze detailed proliferation dynamics of various cancer cell types, in response to manipulation of complex signaling network by steroid hormone receptors and enzymes involved in the steroid hormone biosyntesis."

xCELLigence MP - Agilent technologies

Higher throughput for xCELLigence cell based assay

The RTCA MP Station is located inside a tissue culture incubator and is capable of switching any one of the wells on any of six E-Plates to the RTCA Analyzer for impedance measurement. Each of the six E-Plate holders can be used independently under the RTCA Software. The RTCA Analyzer can automatically select wells for measurement and continuously transfer measured impedance data to the computer. Cell Index values, derived from the measured impedances, are continuously displayed on the Software user interface.

The RTCA MP Instrument is composed of four main components:

  • RTCA Analyzer
  • RTCA MP Station
  • RTCA Control Unit
  • E-Plate 96

RTCA MP Instrument Highlights:

  • Higher assay throughput: Accommodates up to six E-Plates simultaneously
  • Flexibility: Independent operation of six E-Plates by up to six different users
  • Easy to use: Motorized mechanism for E-Plate engagement onto RTCA MP Station
  • Clear data presentation: 96-well graph shows individual Cell Index curves for all 96 wells
