Attana

Founded in 2002 in Stockholm, Sweden, Attana AB is a developer of advanced biosensor instruments. Through characterization of molecular interactions as they would occur in the human body, Attana systems can provide biologically relevant information, hence its success rate and efficiency in biology-focused R&D process.

Attana’s biosensors can be used to determine specificity, kinetics and affinity, amongst other binding characteristics of biomolecules and macrostructures of varying species such as cells, antibodies, proteins, viruses and bacteria.

Based on the proven, reliable and versatile label-free Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM) technology, the Attana biosensor systems are optimized for life science research and development. A variety of sensor surfaces ensure that the systems can be utilized within diverse applications and enable the study of molecular interaction studies of varying biomolecules such as proteins, nucleic acids and carbohydrates and also binding moieties of vastly different sizes, ranging from peptides to cells.
