There are a lot of benefits of using good hypoxia chambers and not to simulate conditions by experimental devices. Unknown physiological mechanisms and reproducibility of results are enough reasons to choose an in vivo cabinet or a glove box with O2 control from Coy Laboratory Products. In a recent study published in Poultry Science Volume 100, Issue 7, July 2021, researchers are revealing the importance of negative factors, hypoxia and oxidative stress, by creating 1% O2/5% CO2/94% N2 condition for cell culture.
