CODA system performs single or multiple simultaneous non-invasive blood pressure measurements from the tail cuff of small rodents. The volume-pressure recording technology used in the sensors provides virtually 100% correlation with direct blood pressure measurements.
Incorporated proprietary signal processing technology detects the weakest blood pressure reading without need for post-processing or signal filtering. Six blood pressure parameters (systolic blood pressures, diastolic blood pressure, mean blood pressure, heart rate, blood flow and blood volume) are acquired in up to eight animals. With the CODA Monitor having integrated blood pressure display and software, no computer is needed.
