The CQ1 can quantitatively measure the biological information from image data of each cell with good reproducibly. A variety of information such as that about cell functions, intracellular signal transduction mechanisms, invasion regarding cell mobility, and morphology of cells can be obtained from the data quantified through image processing that were difficult for a flow cytometer to obtain. CellPathFinder high content image analysis software incudes: Powerful Machine learning, label-free analysis and texture-energy filter.
Unlike a flow cytometer, the CQ1 does not flush cells away, so it can follow time-based changes in the same sample simply by continuing the measurement or even after incubating the sample. CQ1 enables 3D imaging and quantification of live cell clusters, such as spheroids within a 3D culture vessel, as they are, keeping the cells intact. CQ1 exports feature data in general formats which are readable by various third-party software for advanced data analysis. It is possible to construct fully customized CQ1-based system by integrating with external systems, via robot for culture dish handling.
Major features:
- Precise quantification of morphological information
- Live cell observation functions
- Highly reproducible measurement
