In September 2021, team from Department of Radiation Oncology from Maastricht University Medical Centre, together with research group NuTeC from Hasselt University, The M-Lab from Maastricht University and other senior researchers sent for publication amazing result of their work on GBM in mice, having purpose to discover better algorithm to predict CoM and have a better volume to target. Starting with contrast -enhanced CBCT issues, followed by MR and BLI guidance they still encountered lack of 3D spatial information. Monte Carlo simulation and 3D CNN were used in calculation, together with Gao and AI, in order to obtain accuracy for small volumes. Complete article can be downloaded from next link
