Assistant Professor Craig Goergen and PhD candidate Arvin Soepriatna(both from Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana) will discuss the following topics:

  • Acquisition of cardiac and respiratory-gated 3D data sets
  • Analysis of dynamic volumes using binary masks and deformation fields.
  • Quantitation of stroke volume, ejection fraction and vascular strain using these data
