In the Image of the Month, you'll get a sneak peek at the new 4D imaging capabilities (dynamic 3D images of the heart) that will soon be available on the Vevo 3100 Imaging System. The new 4D mode on the Vevo 3100 Imaging System will allow to look at 3D images over time. Here, a 4D image was taken from a parasternal short axis (SAX) view of the heart. Multiple 3D volumes were then drawn across the entire cardiac cycle. The result is an incredible reconstruction of the heart from diastole to systole.
