Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are lipid spheres released from cells. EVs express proteins and contain cargo that pertain to their cell of derivation, potentially providing a retrospective snapshot of cell state at the time of EV release.

"We purchased the COY vinyl anaerobic glove box, as we needed a reliable solution for work with oxygen-sensitive proteins and chemicals (e.g. glutathione, dyes for detecting reactive oxygen species). I decided for COY, as I have a good experience with COY glove boxes since my study time in the 1990s.We are actually retiring the old one, which served for almost 20 years.
In future, we might want to add an extra dehumidification, especially if we are to work with more liquids, possibly a small refrigerator to help us while working with sensitive proteins - just like the one they have in Konstanz."
Institute of Plant Molecular Biology CAS, České Budějovice, Czech Republic
Pancreatic ductaladenocarcinoma (PDA) is the third leading cause of cancer related death in the United States, contrasting a relatively low incidence rate.
